About This Project

Capturing a range of flatlay photography and product photos for Marina Walker, and her new range of photographic greetings cards! Marina approached me to undertake some styled product photography for her cards to differentiate styling between three themes and to complement her stunning floral photography.  The brief was to bring together a mix of foliage and natural elements, and produce images that were contemporary, yet worked cohesively with her photographic style and customer base.

Styled and flatlay photography is always fun to work on in the studio and the brief allowed me a lot of creative freedom. Using the extensive range of props I have available in my studio, I produced a extensive collection of photographs for her to use on her website shop, Etsy shop and social media. It’s been a pleasure to work with a fellow photographer who specialises in another area of photography and has trusted me with her product photos!

Marina Walker is a British photographer specialising in floral, woodland and still life photography. Photography began as a hobby she undertook for relaxation; first in her garden and further afield later. After sharing her work online for a number of years she decided to launch a business selling prints worldwide and also has a range of greeting cards stocked in shops. In her botanical work, Marina aims to capture the natural beauty of plants with minimal digital manipulation and prefers to use natural light, even when shooting indoors.
