Happy start to 2024! I always use this time of year to reflect on the last 12 months and my top business moments in 2023, making plans & manifesting for another exciting year ahead. Here’s a little look at what I achieved in 2023 and a recap on last year as a business. This couldn’t be possible without all your support and constant bookings, so thanks for another awesome year!

So, what did I achieve in my business in 2024?
Well, I worked with 75+ awesome businesses independent brands to capture beautiful imagery to promote all they do!
I had my first overseas photoshoot in Morocco, working with a Riad to produce marketing ready photographs of their truly stunning space & rooms.
It was my 10th business birthday – somehow. 10 years spent doing what I love. It wouldn’t be that way if it weren’t for my clients, those for both one off fun spontaneous shoots and regular work! I find joy in learning about individual and incredible stories behind the founders, creatives and entrepreneurs who get in touch to work with me. It’s that combined with the luxury of capturing the magic behind their business to create marketable brand imagery that sets my job as a dream one for me!
I was nominated as a Finalist for the Exeter Living Awards 2023 – a celebration of local Exeter businesses!
The studio had a revamp, with a new desk I made out of reused scaffold boards, plus a whole host of new props for my product photoshoots! I’m so excited to get working in this studio space during 2024!
I became a member of Food Drink Devon. Food Drink Devon are all about championing and shouting about all of the fantastic produce that can be found in Devon. I work with a tonne of awesome foodie businesses local to me, and am proud to now be a part of this incredible network!
I was surprised and delighted to have been nominated for an Exmouth Chamber Business Award 2023 for ‘Best Online Presence’, along with my lovely clients.
I had my photos featured in Vogue, Exeter Life magazine, Food Magazine, The Independent & The Metro, amongst others. It’s always a pleasure to get a credit in these publications when my talented clients products or business has been featured too!
I travelled far & wide location scouting for shoots for this year! Some are for my Winter Branding Shoots on location days planned throughout 2024, and others for projects in the pipeline.
So, that’s my top business moments from 2023. What a year it’s truly been! I’m so looking forward to working with even more wonderful businesses and independent brands in the next 365 days. Bring on 2024! 👏🏼
