About This Project
A lifestyle photoshoot capturing the delicious, vibrant cocktails made to order by the sea in Devon. Bar Buoy was dreamt up on the beach with the main aim being to put some smiles back on faces. With a taste for well-made drinks and a thirst for the perfect sized pre mixed sundowner, they’ve created a range of hand crafted, bar standard, cocktails made with high quality ingredients and premium spirits. I captured their cocktails with a lifestyle photoshoot in their element using the natural setting of the beach and sea to add character to the shoot. A varied brief allowed for my own creative eye on the bottles, while making sure to photograph group photos of the bottle that can be used for promotion and their website shop.
I’ve worked with Ria and Tim, founders of Bar Buoy, many times over the last few years as Bar Buoy has grown on their journey. From shoots on the beach, to product shoots in my studio, and styled photoshoots in the home and lab. For a collaboration with local artist, Ella Slade, I styled and captured during a photoshoot on their kitchen table in Spring 2022. A huge mix of shoots allows them great flexibility for PR and publication opportunities, as well as social media where a lot of photos are used and continually shared!
Sunshine filled days by the sea have never been better for a shoot with cocktails in the mix!
