About This Project
I’ve worked with Sanchos twice now, at their Slow Fashion Show in Exeter Cathedral and for lifestyle images of their gorgeous clothing. Photos captured on a lifestyle photoshoot showcase the core values of the quality clothing brands they stock and are used on their website and social media for promotional purposes. Photos taken during their Slow Fashion Show promote the event on marketing materials and have been used on their Instagram. Founded in 2014, Sanchos looks as bringing ethical and sustainable brands to customers like myself looking to make a positive change in the world of fashion. The store was initially inspired from travelling to developing countries such as Ethiopia, where owners Kalkidan and Vidmantas observed the effects of the fast fashion industry. Unlike shops that you may find on the high street, Sanchos focuses on sourcing clothing that is certified fair trade and made from sustainable natural materials. I am learning that clothing consumption produces 1.5 tonnes of CO2 per household annually. And I am learning to make the change. What changes are you wanting to make? Maybe clothing should be one of them.
