About This Project
Who can beat food photography in an amazing location! I was lucky enough to be asked to undertake a shoot with the amazing team at the River Exe Cafe, an award winning restaurant in Exmouth, Devon. The River Exe Cafe is open from 1st April until the 30th September each year and is a custom built barge that floats off shore in the Exe Estuary. The Restaurant offers a wide range of locally-sourced food and is surrounded by amazing views. A simple brief, to capture the feel of the cafe, to profile staff, the fantastic team, and a mix of food & drink product, on site one a sunny afternoon.
The result is a small but spot-on portfolio with a mix of food photography, documentary photography and maybe the odd gin & Luscombe tonic squeezing it’s way in too! A happy team in the most beautiful location provided the perfect backdrop for some stunning photos!
