About This Project
Lifestyle photography for the formerly Brighton based artist, Louise Dear. A photoshoot in her Brighton studio produced a portfolio which includes portraits, work in progress and natural shots profiling Louise’s original art, prints and one-off pieces. Working with Louise was key to establishing what she hoped to gain from the shoot, considering how the photos would be used and discussing the various options! This was a fun shoot with lots of sillyness which I feel is reflected in the photos Louise chose to use mostly for social media. Louise relocated to the South of France in July 2018 where I hope the next shoot will be!
At the age of 21, Louise travelled around the world in a vintage pink ambulance before settling in Australia for seven years to work as an exhibition designer prior to becoming the artist she is today. Louise’s works have since been shown at prestigious locations like the Royal Academy of Arts and her colourful and fashion-led style is popular with collectors across the world.
