About This Project
Wendy from the lovely Red Brick Glass approached me to capture product photos for her fused glass making kits and boxes. Incorporating bright lighting and accompanying glass kit colours produced a collection of photographs that were simple yet showcased the outcome of her interactive kits. Flatlays and styled photography is always part of a product shoot and, with Wendy’s vision and ideas, it meant I could carefully select appropriate props through use of colour as an important element in this shoot. Her photographs are to be used for her website, online shop and, in turn, used across all social media, website and other marketing platforms including print.
Alongside photographing her kits and gift boxes, I worked with Wendy one her seaglass and sea inspired jewellery collection, capturing her stunning pieces in the studio for product photos, and also modelled on the beach for that natural feel! A lovely mix of both type of photography allow for her collection to be seen in all lights, and as it would look on!
Founder and Owner, Wendy has run her fused glass business for 20 years, after studying glass at Edinburgh college of art. She received a start up grant in 2000 from the Craft Council and the rest is history. She is making fused glass gifts, sell make at home glass kits and running workshops from her home studio in beautiful West Lulworth, on the Dorset coast.
