About This Project

Product photoshoot in my studio for Brighton Boxed to provide founder Denise with a wide range of product photographs for her curated gift boxes, featuring Brighton’s best independent makers. Denise moved to Brighton nearly 20 years ago and recently created another business to help connect local makers in Brighton with people that wanted to gift local, opening her eyes to the amazing creativity the city has. So, she set out to curate gift boxes that bring together some of the gorgeous makes and products created in Brighton.

For her product photoshoot, she wanted complementary colours that reflected Brighton but also marketed her simple, stylish boxes and the fact that they can be easily personalised with an array of different options. This meant the shoot captured a mix of curated gift boxes as a set, alongside the individual products that can make up a box on their own.
